Hannah Coyle

Hannah Coyle is based in Paris. She has just completed an intensive three-year acting course at Cours Florent École de Théâtre, where she won a two-year international scholarship. Hannah previously trained for two years at the Lyric Drama Studio, Belfast. She graduated from Queen’s University Belfast in 2010 with a BA in French and Politics. She is a fluent French speaker, with an excellent aptitude for accents, having taken part in numerous sessions with renowned vocal coaches Patricia Logue and Claire Olivier. She took ballet classes for eight years at the Dance Studio Bangor and studied movement and body work for three years in Paris with the noted dancer/choreographer Martin Grandperret. She recently co-wrote her first play, which was produced in Paris in June 2018.

Stage credits include: The Lantern Man (Powerstone), The Suitcase (Spring Lane & Chatterbox; Audience Award, Belfast International Arts Festival), Both Sides (Powerstone),  Me Here, Me (Cathedral Quarter Arts Festival; Beckett Paris Festival; Paris Fringe), Little Jokes (Chatterbox – acting commendation at Edinburgh Fringe), The Crucible, The Playboy of the Western World (Lyric Theatre, Belfast), Home Rule? (Spring Lane), Much Ado About Nothing, Two Gents (Ruff Theatre), Fireworks (Tinderbox), Fast & Loose (Accidental), and Operation Blitzed (Big Telly). At Cours Florent her stage credits have included Waiting for Godot, The Seagull, and Translations. She has just been cast as Bottom in A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Paris Summer Shakespeare) She will reprise the role of Galina Stein in The Suitcase in February 2019.  Hannah was also co-writer of And Then Again Begin (Paris, June 2018).
