Jenny Walsh is an actress from County Antrim. She has starred in many professional plays and musicals including Eternally Scrooged, Beauty and the Beast and TinselTown, an original musical by Paul Boyd.
Jenny has achieved her Silver Medal Grade 7 LAMDA exam in Acting and has starred in short films such as Time and Again, produced by Northern Ireland Screen in association with Causeway Pictures and What’s Next Films. Time and Again premiered at the Cannes Short Film Corner and won the Audience Choice Award at Film Devour.
She recently won the lead role (Rebecca), acting alongside Ian Beattie, Lalor Roddy, and others, in an upcoming short film for RTE’s Storyland project, A Sign of Things, which will be streamed on RTE’s IPlayer for a year and will have an international festival run.
After acquiring GCSEs in Music and Drama, Jenny was awarded a place on the Performing Arts course at Northern Regional College where she currently receives training in Dance, Acting, Theatre for Children and Musical Theatre Performance. She is also working towards her Grade 8 singing exam in Musical Theatre after achieving a Distinction in Grade 6.
