Narelle loves being on stage, has a keen interest in drama and has been running her own performing arts group “Drama For Kids” in Armagh for the past 13 years. This group provides students between the ages of 3-18 with opportunities in acting whilst enabling them to obtain recognised qualifications. Narelle is an extremely motivated and determined individual who has a real desire to continue progressing within the industry which can be seen from her achievements to date. She has appeared in a large number of theatre, film, television, music video, and corporate roles.
Not only does she run a performing arts group with approximately 60 children aged between 3-20; Narelle has recently just finished her first movie Zombie Formal Queen which she produced for the group. For this film she co-wrote the script with Afton West, starred in it, directed it and produced the film alongside Larry Cowan from Lamb Films. She had to manage a cast of 70 people (with two filming productions going on at the same time in the space of two days) and thoroughly enjoyed it. Her youngest actor was 3 and the eldest was 60. They are now in the post-production phase with the aim of making it into a feature film. It was a real challenge and one which she thoroughly enjoyed and can’t wait to do again.
