Sarah Lyle
Sarah, born in Belfast, trained at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in London from 2001 to 2004 and with The Jim Henson Company in puppeteering. With a background in puppeteering, musical theatre, and songwriting, she has performed and directed numerous productions, including ‘Sleeping Beauty’ and ‘The Fisherman’s Friend’ for the Deaf Arts Festival at The MAC, along with various pantomimes and children’s shows. Sarah has also Assistant Directed multiple productions with Cahoots NI, including world premier of ‘Under the Hawthorn Tree,’ and Puppetry Directed Lyric Theatre’s ‘Rough Girls’.
As a writer of many productions, some credits include ‘Cornershops, Cartwheels, Coffins and Crochet,’ ‘Peggy, Francis and Me,’ ‘Sleeping Beauty,’ ‘Cinderella,’ ‘Robin Hood,’ ‘Puss in Boots: The Panto,’ and ‘Chemo Express.’
Sarah freelances as a performer, writer, director, and producer while serving as Artistic Director for Yellow Jumper Productions and Cre8 Theatre.
