Bernadette McKeating

Bernadette is an actor and creative with bases in Belfast and London. She holds a first class honours degree in English with Creative Writing from Queen’s University, Belfast and received acting training from the Lyric Theatre’s Drama Studio programme.

Bernadette’s theatre credits include Grace Fryer (Radium Girls, Lyric Theatre Belfast), Lisa (Operation Spike, Big Telly Theatre Company) and the upcoming role of Polly (The Magician’s Nephew, Bright Umbrella Theatre Company). She has also starred in numerous short films, including award-nominated poetry film Space Girl and SHARK, which premiered at the Foyle Film Festival 2023.

Bernadette is passionate about film and theatre as well as arts education. When she is not writing or performing, she works as a facilitator, most recently delivering workshops on Shakespeare in secondary schools across Northern Ireland.
