Brenda McNeill

Brenda is best known for BBC Two/Netflix drama series The Fall, starring Gillian Anderson and Jamie Dornan. Her other highlights include: Feature film Pixie, starring Alec Baldwin, BBC One/Acorn TV drama series Bloodlands, starring James Nesbitt (executive produced by Jed Mercurio) and high-profile short film Artificial Escalation for the Future of Life Institute USA.

An actor of the screen for over twenty-five years, Brenda has racked up an impressive list of television, film and commercial credits.

After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Broadcasting & Production at The University of the West of Scotland, Brenda took up the coveted role of Presenter and Producer for Irish Radio Network USA in New York City.

During her time in the Big Apple, she also graduated with a Screen Acting Master, in association with The Actors Studio, and undertook Theatre Arts training at The Irish Arts Centre NYC.

Brenda featured in BBC NI’s Tight Shorts comedy series, which racked up over 20 million views on Facebook. In Northern Ireland, she was featured on billboards, adshels and buses in the Crimestoppers Drug dealers don’t care campaign and in the hard-hitting Share the Road to Zero – Phone Shame road safety campaign.

Brenda currently balances her screen work with her production work for BBC and various independent production companies across the UK and Ireland.
