Keeley Lane
Keeley Lane is an actress from Yorkshire but has currently moved to Belfast, with further bases in London and Leeds. She trained at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts for an MA in Acting and she also has a BA from Loughborough University in English Literature. She also completed a summer intensive course in Ancient Greek Theatre, following which she was cast as Andromache in The Trojan Women in Hydra, Greece.
Her most recent credits include Mel in short film The Tide, starring alongside Francis Magee, Olwen Fouere, and fellow Premier Artists performer Richard Galloway. In 2019 Keeley wrote and starred in her own one woman show, Me, Mum & The Patriarchy, which went on a UK wide tour. She has good experience in immersive and site specific theatre having performed for several years with Sneaky Experience on both their family and adult experiences, and she also loves working as an ensemble.
Whilst at Mountview she performed in Love & Information at The Pleasance Theatre, London, Sandy in Rabbit, Trinculo in The Tempest and Talthybia In Welcome to Thebes.
Keeley is Artistic Director of Buglight Theatre Company and works as a director and dramaturg.
