Saorlaoith Brady

Saorlaoith is an actor from Belfast, Northern Ireland and has recently appeared in Me Oul Segocia (Bright Umbrella Theatre Company), and Dracula and Blue Stockings, on the main stage at the Lyric Theatre, Belfast. Saorlaoith also took on the role of assistant director of Blue Stockings alongside Philip Crawford for the Lyric Theatre Production. Her relationship with the Lyric Theatre had progressed after gaining a place on its renowned Drama Studio acting programme in 2020.

Saorlaoith has recently appeared in screen productions including Hope Street (Season 3; Long Story/BBC1), Housejackers by Rian Lennon, Teeny by Emmet McMullan, Pieces of You by Max Coogan, Shenanigans (web series) by Kieron Clarke, Unexpected by Max Coogan, and a new music video for a popular Belfast rock band’s latest release.

Saorlaoith was also awarded best actress for her performance of Mag in Lovers by Brian Friel at New Point Fringe Festival.

Some of Saorlaoith’s training includes vocal dialect and accent coaching with Michael Corbidge (Royal Shakespeare Company), Acting for TV/FILM with Kieran Lagan, Self Tape masterclass with Mary Ellen O’Hara, Stage Combat training with Ian McCracken (FIGHT RIGHT), Clowning, Commedia Dell’arte, Physical Theatre with David Calvert and Intensive Actor training with Rosie Phelan and Kieran Lagan.
