Debbie McCormack

Debbie studied Creative and Performing Arts at the University of Portsmouth. After moving home to Belfast, she became involved with Wireless Mystery Theatre, appearing in such live shows as Brief Encounter and A Christmas Carol. Debbie has worked with Southbank Theatre, Skinnybone, Bruiser, and The Beat Carnival, and is currently a member of the Tinderbox ‘Convergence’ ensemble.

She began playing guitar at age 12 and has recently played with Colin Reid’s ‘Belfast Guitar Orchestra’. She is currently with the Stormont School of Singing, making her way through the musical theatre grades (currently grade six).

Her screen work has showcased several times at Stay Beautiful’s tri-monthly Film Devour short film festival.

She studied Creative Writing at Belfast Metropolitan College and has since had poetry published in such places as Panning for Poems and with the Community Arts Partnership.
