Rea grew up in Belfast playing lead roles in numerous theatrical productions for the Rainbow Factory.
She went on to attend both the City Lit and RADA, London. Rea wrote and performed in a number of her own plays whilst in London including Thick Blood, Loose Love and Brixton-Belfast.
Rea has recently relocated back to Northern Ireland. As can be seen from her CV, Rea has an abundance of theatre experience playing a diverse range of characters. Credits include Danforth in The Crucible and Joan in Joan of Arc. One of her most recent credits was a multi-character one-woman play called THAT MOMENT. Rea is an established voice-over artist. TV credits include Miss Marple and The Woman in White.
Rea is a highly versatile actor. She is drawn to feisty, emotive characters and equally comfortable playing comedic roles. She has a strong stage presence and is now keen to transfer her skills to screen.
Rea is very athletic being a competitive runner, cyclist and kickboxer.
Lastly as well as being an Actor, Rea is training to be a Clinical Psychologist and feels this knowledge will aid her research and approach to characters.
