Mary Lindsay

Mary has extensive and varied experience in film, TV, theatre and audio work. Film credits include Ordinary Love (starring Lesley Manville and Liam Neeson; written by Owen McCafferty and directed by Lisa Barros D’Sa and Glenn Leyburn for Canderblinks Film), My Left Nut (for BBC Three, written by Michael Patrick and Oisin Kearney, directed by Paul Gay for Rollem Productions), A Good Woman is Hard To Find (directed by Abner Pastoll for February and Superbe Films), BBC’s The Fall (directed by Alan Cubitt), and BAFTA 2014 nominated film Good Vibrations (Canderblinks/Revolution Films).

Theatre credits include Distortion by Amanda Verlaque (directed by Rhiann Jeffrey for the MAC Belfast), Through The Window by Colm Doran (for Three’s Theatre Company), Laura Jesson in Wireless Mystery Theatre’s production of Noel Coward’s Brief Encounter, and Doris in Same Time Next Year by Bernard Slade (directed by Moninne Dargan for Belfast Film Festival).

Audio credits include Phantom Family and Fragments of Truth (by Tara Lynne O’Neill; directed by Nuala Donnelly for The MAC Belfast), Lolly (by Amanda Verlaque for The MAC Belfast), Bloodline (by Vittoria Cafolla; directed by Emily Foran for The Lyric Belfast), and BBC Radio 4 Afternoon dramas Quicksands and Brought to Light.

Mary has recently spent time on training and development at HB Studio in New York with Carol Rosenfeld, focusing on Uta Hagen’s acting process, and Lisa Pelikan, focusing on Skill Integration For Film.
